There are a lot of good old cartoons out there that you may have seen as a kid, or perhaps you haven’t seen them yet and are curious about them. Maybe you want to watch something you used to watch as a child for fun or because you can’t think of anything else to watch. Maybe you’d like to show your kids the cartoons you used to watch. So here are 10 places to watch old cartoons, with a few bonus places as well.

Boomerang

Boomerang used to just be a channel on TV that played old cartoons, but they’ve gotten into the streaming business just like everyone else and have their own website where you can stream old cartoons. You do have to sign up for it, but there is a 1-week free trial. You can take a look at what they have without signing up first if you’re curious to see the available cartoons.

Cartoon Network

Cartoon Network also allows you to watch some of their cartoons on their website or mobile app. They have “unlocked” episodes that you can watch for free, and you don’t have to log into any account. However, there are episodes that are locked, and you have to log in with your TV provider to unlock them.

WB Kids

WB Kids is a specific YouTube channel that has clips, trailers, and some full episodes. I see a lot of Looney Tunes and Tom & Jerry as I scroll through their videos. It definitely doesn’t offer many full episodes like others on this list, but there’s probably enough content to satisfy kids or adults looking for something to scratch the old cartoon itch, especially when it’s free.

DisneyNow

DisneyNow lets you watch cartoons from Disney Channel, Disney XD, and Disney Junior. I found one of my favorites, Kim Possible, on there and clicked on a couple random episodes. It allowed me to watch them for free, but it does have ads throughout the show. The amount of ads feels pretty much the same as commercial breaks if you were watching it on the TV channels. I don’t think it has full seasons, but it gives you something to watch, and it’s free.

Youtube

I know I’ve already mentioned one specific Youtube channel, but Youtube obviously has a lot more. There are some channels specific to companies, like the WB Kids one, but sometimes if you just search for a cartoon, you might end up finding ways to watch it on Youtube. They might not always be of the best quality, but if that doesn’t bother you, there’s no harm in trying.

Amazon Prime Video & Freevee

Prime Video is a paid subscription service, but there is a free trial. It has a ton of cartoons, old and new, including Clifford the Big Red Dog, SpongeBob, Batman: The Animated Series, and more. Although it’s only a paid service, there will be a few ads sometimes, depending on what level of plan you choose. However, Amazon also has another streaming service known as Freevee that is free and also has some old cartoons.

Hulu & Disney+

Hulu is another paid subscription service with different plans and a free trial. They have various cartoons available to stream as well, like Rugrats, the Powerpuff Girls, and ThunderCats. The nice thing about Hulu is that they also have some bundle packages where you can get Hulu and Disney+, and adding in Disney+ gives you Disney cartoons as well.

ToonJet

ToonJet is free, and it lets you watch cartoons without logging into any account. They have old cartoons like Looney Tunes, Popeye, Tom & Jerry, and many more classics. They also allow you to search for a cartoon. I’ve been clicking a few different videos on the site to test it out and haven’t gotten any ads in the process, but it does look like some of the videos come from YouTube, so it’s not impossible. They also have a live section that looks like it plays random old cartoons.

Nickelodeon & PlutoTV

Like DisneyNow, Nickelodeon has a website that allows you to watch some of their shows. There are some free ones you can watch without signing in, but there are others that are locked that you have to sign in to watch. They also have ads, and it doesn’t look like they have too many episodes available either. But they have a live channel on PlutoTV that plays Nickelodeon shows just like the cable channel does. You can watch it on the Nickelodeon website or on PlutoTV. PlutoTV also has cartoons you can watch for free, just with some ads, on live channels and on demand.

Tubi

Most of you probably already know about Tubi. Tubi is completely free to watch, but there will be ads. There’s a variety of different movies and shows to watch on it, and yes, it does have cartoons too. There’s some newer ones, but also some older cartoons; you’ll just have to browse through them to see what you’d want to watch. For example, there’s the old Scooby-Doo Where Are You? cartoon on there, the Flintstones, and Jem. There’s a Tubi Kids section that might help you look through cartoons more easily.
