Weekly recommendations is a post I publish every Friday where I recommend three different kinds of entertainment. This can include anime, comics, video games, board games, movies, and other similar forms of entertainment. They may also vary in genre, themes, intended audience, release year, and other factors.

Love Falls Like Rain

  • Webtoon
  • Romance

There’s a rumor about a magical object that teleports you to your soulmate. Sarang’s mother gives her a yellow umbrella. When she attempts to use the umbrella, she is transported to Albia, another country. Every time Sarang teleports, she is surrounded by two attractive men. With the legend in mind, Sarang feels that one of these men is her soulmate. But which among them is it?

Legendary: A Marvel Deck Building Game

  • Board Game
  • Action, Adventure, Deck building, Strategy

Legendary is a Marvel comics board game in which players work together to defeat the game. Players choose a villain and a scheme to face off against, as well as five heroes to use throughout the game. They have to build their decks during the game, selecting superhero cards that will complement their strategy. They will use these cards to defeat both secondary villains and the main villain. Villains can also disrupt gameplay by kidnapping bystanders or inflicting injuries on you. Players receive points by defeating villains, which they can add up at the end of the game. Whoever accumulates the most points wins. However, even the villains can win.

Animal Crossing: New Horizons

  • Video Game: Nintendo Switch
  • Adventure, Simulation, Social Simulation

This is the fifth installment in the Animal Crossing series. The player travels to a deserted island and tries to improve it by completing various tasks, such as convincing anthropomorphic creatures to live there and customizing the island. You can gather items, craft, interact with neighbors, and visit other gamers’ islands. The player gets unlimited freedom over how they play the game. Game time is equivalent to real-world time.
