Weekly Recommendations is a post I make every week where I recommend three different kinds of entertainment for you. These can include video games, anime, comics, TV series, tabletop games, and other similar media. They can also vary in intended audience, age of release, genres, and other aspects.

Recovery of an MMO Junkie

Moriko just quit her job and now spends her time playing as the male hero “Hayashi” in the online game Fruits de Mei. Moriko keeps to herself, leaving her apartment only when absolutely necessary. But she meets Lily, a healer, in the game and they quickly become friends. Yuuta Sakurai, an introverted office worker, also enjoys playing Fruits de Mer. They run into each other in a convenience store and don’t think much of it. However, their lives are more closely linked than they think.

May I Ask for One Final Thing?

Scarlet, a ducal noblewoman, is engaged to the second prince. However, he unexpectedly cancels their engagement in front of everyone at a ball, accusing her of being a “villainess” and a bully to the new girl he wants to marry. Everyone around her condemns her, and she is tired of the second prince’s abuse and stupidity, so she asks for one last thing: to beat up all of those who are participating in these lies and treating her unfairly. Scarlet, now free of the second prince, plans to live her life as she chooses, including beating up those who mistreat her.

Gravity Falls 

  • Cartoon Series, 40 episodes 
  • Adventure, Mystery, Comedy, Supernatural 

Dipper and Mabel Pines are spending their summer vacation with their great uncle Stan Pines, who owns a tourist trap called the Mystery Shack. However, Gravity Falls has these strange supernatural occurrences, and after Dipper discovers a mystery journal, the two are inspired to unearth the secrets that exist there.
