Weekly Recommendations is a post I publish every Friday where I recommend three different kinds of entertainment. These can be comics, movies, anime, video games, and other similar forms of media. They will also vary in other aspects like intended audience, age, and genres or themes.

Morgana and Oz

  • Webtoon
  • Fantasy, Romance

Morgana belongs to a family of witches, and Oz belongs to a rival clan of vampires. When the two groups attempt to get along at a dinner, everything goes wrong, and each side is blaming the other. But there’s more going on than any of them know, and Morgana and Oz decide to work together to unravel the mysteries and stop their families from going to war.

Kamisama Kiss

  • Anime, 13 episodes
  • Fantasy, Romance, Comedy, Supernatural

Nanami Momozono is a high school girl who became homeless due to her absentee father’s debt. She saves a man from a dog that is harassing him on the street. They talk about her situation, and he offers her his home. That home turns out to be a shrine to Mikage, the land god. The man Namai saved is Mikage, and he’s asked Nanami to step in for him while he’s away. Nanami, with the help of two shrine spirits and an unhappy fox familiar named Tomoe, must learn how to be a proper deity and care for the shrine while Mikage is absent.

Dead Rising: Watchtower

  • Movie
  • Action, Zombie

Based on the Dead Rising video game series and set between games 2 and 3, the film follows reporter Chase Carter and his camerawoman Jordan as they investigate what life is like in the quarantined community of East Mission, Oregon. He, Jordan, a grieving mother named Maggie, and a woman named Crystal must fight their way out of the zombie-infested town before the government bombs it.
