Weekly Recommendations is a post I write every Friday where I recommend three different kinds of entertainment. These can include anime, comics, movies, TV shows, board games, and other similar forms of media. They may also range in intended audience, release date, and other aspects.
Author of My Own Destiny
- Webtoon
- Fantasy, Romance
Fiona Green, the evil mage in “The Emperor and the Saint,” was destined to die at the hands of the heroes. But when the story’s writer takes over Fiona’s identity, she is desperate to reverse her fate. Despite being treated horribly as an illegitimate daughter and forced to fight monsters in Heylon, Fiona is determined to put her incredible magical powers to good use. However, the story begins to change radically when she saves the male lead, Siegren, turning him from enemy to friend.
Log Horizon
- Anime, 62 episodes
- Fantasy, Adventure, Isekai, Science Fiction, Video Game
After the most recent update, Elder Tale MMORPG players were transported into the game without the ability to log out. Shiroe, a socially shy college student, seasoned gamer, and smart strategist, accepts his current circumstances and proceeds to explore his new environment. Shiroe, along with his two friends Naotsugu and Akatsuki, helps many other confused gamers make the most of their current situation and interact appropriately with the game’s NPCs, who are considerably more real than they expected.
Spider-Man/Deadpool Vol. 1: Isn’t It Bromantic
- Marvel Comic
- Action, Comedy
Spider-Man and Deadpool team up for hilarious adventures. Deadpool may be too much for Spider-Man at times, but they’re making their friendship work. That friendship, however, may be tested when Deadpool’s next target is a man named Peter Parker. In addition, they must face bizarre mysteries at Parker Industries, double dates, and Deadpool: The Movie set in Hollywood.
