Magic: The Gathering regularly releases new sets. So, here’s a post regarding the Magic: The Gathering release schedule for 2024. I also included some brief information about each set, but some of them do not have a lot of details available yet.

Ravnica Remastered – January 12th

This set revisits Ravnica through reprints. It spans thirteen Magic sets and contains a total of 292 cards, 71 of which are rare and 20 mythic rares. It has retro frame cards, borderless cards, serialized cards, draft boosters, and collector boosters.

Murders at Karlov Manor – February 9th

This set is about a murder mystery set in Ravnica, which you must solve. Starting with Murders at Karlov Manor, MTG will offer a Play booster, which is a combination of Set and Draft boosters.

Ravnica: Clue Edition – February 23rd

The Clue Edition is a combination of MTG and the game Clue. It includes reprints and new cards to create an MTG version of Clue. This will be self-contained, with the box coming with everything you need to play the game.

Universes Beyond: Fallout – Commander Decks – March 8th

As the name might suggest to Fallout video game players, this set is a cross-over between MTG and the video game series Fallout. There will be four Commander decks, and yes, Dogmeat is one of them in a deck called Scrappy Survivors

Outlaws of Thunder Junction – April 19, 2024

This set is based on the wild west. While there isn’t much known yet about this set, it’s the last part of the Omenpath Arc and will feature old and new villains in a new plane.

Modern Horizons 3 – June 14, 2024

This set will be like the previous Modern Horizons sets and bring new cards to the Modern and Eternal formats. It will also have double-faced cards. There isn’t too much else known about the set yet, though, as with many of these sets coming out later in the year.

Universes Beyond: Assassin’s Creed – July 5 2024

Another collaboration, this time based on the Assassin’s Creed series. According to MTG’s lead designer, this is going to be a small set and isn’t drafted. It will also introduce Beyond boosters that will contain both old and new cards.

Bloomburrow – August 2, 2024

Bloomburrow is Magic’s 101st expansion and features anthropomorphic animals as the world’s inhabitants. These animals wear clothes and can wield weapons and magic. It’s the first set in the Dragonstorm Arc, but other than that, there’s not too much information I can find about it yet.

Duskmourn: House of Horror – September 27 2024

This set is a top-down Modern Horror set. It’s inspired by 70s and 80s horror movies and is based on a haunted house.

Foundations – November 15, 2024

Foundations is a set more for players just starting out. It’ll be standard-legal and for longer than most other Magic: The Gathering sets, having a year of at least 2029. It’s made to teach people how to play the game, and it will have reprints as well as new cards.
