The Kingdom of Fiore is a magical place, home to the infamous Fairy Tail guild. Lucy Heartfilia is a celestial spirit mage who wishes to become a member of the guild. After a chance encounter with the Fairy Tail’s “salamander,” the fire dragon slayer Natsu Dragneel, Lucy is able to join the guild. She then forms a team with Natsu, his cat-like exceed, Happy, the ice mage Gray Fillbuster, and requip user Erza Scarlet. They embark on guild quests together and fight darker forces that they must protect their other Fairy Tail companions and Fiore from.

Their body swapping causes them to form a bond, but when they both decide to meet each other, it turns out that their body swapping has much bigger implications.

There is also the option of building houses and public facilities, with a variety of possibilities.
