Weekly Recommendations is a post I write every Friday in which I recommend three different kinds of entertainment. This can be anime, comics, TV shows, tabletop games, video games, books, and other similar types of entertainment.

Mr. and Mrs. X

  • Comic book
  • Action, Comedy, Romance, Adventure

Rogue and Gambit are officially married, but their lives continue to be disrupted. Their honeymoon is ruined by a crisis call from Kitty Pryde and the appearance of Deadpool, Rogue’s former flame, along with a mysterious package. The wedded couple’s attempt to have a party fails, and they are transported to the Mojoverse during their wedding reception. They must fight and confront their past in order to spend a moment of peace together.

Toradora

  • Anime, 25 episodes
  • Comedy, Drama, Romance

Ryuuji Takasu has the face of a delinquent, but he is gentle and enjoys housework. Taiga Aisaka is petite and cute, but she has a fiery attitude. Her classmates refer to her as the “Palmtop Tiger.” When these two realize they have feelings for each other’s closest friend, they decide to work together to help each other get closer to their crushes. Their partnership causes them to learn more about each other and create a bond that grows stronger as they interact with one another.

Mary and the Witch’s Flower

  • Anime Movie
  • Fantasy, Adventure

Mary Smith, a young girl, follows a cat and finds a “fly-by-night” flower on a broomstick. Fly-by-night flowers are claimed to grant anyone witch powers for one night only, and when Mary bursts the flower open, the broomstick transports her to Endor College, a magical school for witches. But not everything is as it seems at this school, and Mary needs to fix things while hiding the truth that she is not a real witch.
