Michiko Shibatai is a recently fired 29-year-old who is struggling to find another job. However, she continues to spend money on her younger boyfriend in the hopes that he will marry her. She discovers that her boyfriend has been deceiving her and has only been using her for money. She then runs into her old boss, Ayumu Kurosawa, whom she dislikes, but Ayumu gives her a job at his restaurant because he feels responsible for her unemployment. As a result, their story together begins.

The Villainess Flips the Script

A young woman wakes up as a side character in a story she read after being hit by a car. She is the main character’s evil aunt who raised him after his mother’s death, but treated him poorly and sold him out for money when his rich and powerful family from his father’s side came to reclaim him. Because of her actions, the aunt is killed. However, she doesn’t want that and decides to treat the boy with care, even if only for the few months she is with him. When his father’s family arrives to pick him up, the boy insists that she’s his mother and must accompany them. Judith knows the boy is in danger from an assassination plot and so pretends to be his mother in order to stay with him and help protect him. Read the official English translation on tapas.

Dead Rising: Watchtower

Based on the Dead Rising video games and set between games 2 and 3, the movie follows reporter Chase Carter and his camerawoman Jordan, as they investigate what it’s like within the quarantined community of East Mission, Oregon. He, Jordan, a grieving mother named Maggie, and a woman named Crystal must fight their way out of the zombie-infested town before the government firebombs it.
