Weekly Recommendations is a post I make every Friday where I recommend three different kinds of entertainment for you. These recommendations can include comics, anime, video games, TV shows, and other similar media. They will also vary in other ways, like intended audience, release date, and genres.

Villains Are Destined to Die

  • Manhwa
  • Fantasy, Romance, Drama

The illegitimate child of a wealthy family has spent the entire night playing the hardest version of a dating simulation on her cell phone. When she finally falls asleep, she awakens inside the game as the villainous character that can be played in hard mode. Penelope Eckhart is the Duke’s fake daughter, and her family treats her terribly. Now, as Penelope, the heroine must win over one of the suitors’ hearts in order to survive the game, or she will die.

Warm Bodies

  • Movie
  • Horror, Comedy, Romance, Paranormal

Survivors of a zombie apocalypse are split among humans and zombies. R is a zombie who spends much of his time eating brains and wandering about the same location. When he notices zombies attacking a human girl, he decides to help her. Julie, the human girl, notices that R is different from the other zombies, and they form a bond that appears to be changing and humanizing R. As their relationship grows stronger, so do his changes, which have the potential to influence the future of Earth’s life.

Samurai Jack

  • Cartoon, 62 episodes
  • Action, Time Travel, Fantasy

A young prince from feudal Japan returns from training to confront the supernatural shapeshifting demon Aku. Before he succeeds in killing Aku, the demon curses him to travel into a future ruled by Aku. In this future, the young warrior goes by the name Jack and vows to return to his own time to defeat Aku.
