Weekly Recommendations is a post I write every Friday where I recommend three different kinds of entertainment. These can include anime, video games, movies, comics, and other similar forms of media. They might also vary in genre, theme, intended audience, and age.
Say “I Love You”
- Anime, 13 episodes
- Romance, Comedy, Drama
After her so-called friends unjustly accuse her of being responsible for the death of a class pet, Mei Tachibana decides she no longer needs friends. In an attempt to avoid being hurt again, she distances herself from everyone. Following a miscommunication, Yamato Kurosawa, the most popular kid at school, expresses interest in becoming Mei’s friend. She tries to ignore him, but when Mei asks for help, Yamato kisses her. She develops feelings for him, and when they find their feelings are reciprocated, they begin dating, but this immerses Mei in a world of friendship and love she has never experienced.
The Concubine Contract
- Webtoon
- Action, Romance, Comedy
Yeseo is the Seong Empire’s number one assassin. When Emperor Ahon hires her to track down the spy hidden in his palace, she has to pose as his new favorite airheaded concubine. However, faking love for Ahon while searching for the spy is turning out to be her most challenging task yet because of the many suspicious officials and court alliances.
Hatsune Miku: Project Mirai DX
- Video Game: 3DS
- Rhythm game
A rhythm game where you can play songs from the Vocaloid catalog, hitting the correct buttons on the 3DS at specific times to score points. You can also change outfits and hairstyles, make music videos, and play mini games with different Vocaloid characters, including Hatsune Miku.
