Weekly recommendations can include any media, genre, type, age, and so on. I’ll be recommending entertainment from any year, old and new. Why? Because you just need something to get into every now and then.

Toradora

Ryuuji Takasu has the face of a delinquent, but is gentle and loves housework. Taiga Aisaka is small and cute, but has such a fiery personality that her classmates call her the “Palmtop Tiger.” When these two discover they have crushes on each other’s best friend, they decide to work together to help each other get closer to their respective crushes. Their alliance leads them to learn more about each other and form a bond that grows stronger the more they interact with each other.

Zombieland

Columbus, a college student, is attempting to travel from his college in Texas to his home in Ohio to see if his parents are still alive two months after the United States was infected with a disease that turns people into zombies. Along the way, he meets Tallahassee, Wichita, and her younger sister, Little Rock, who are all attempting to survive the zombie apocalypse and find a zombie-free zone.

Warehouse 13

Myka Bering and Pete Lattimer of the United States Secret Service investigate and retrieve supernatural artifacts that can be dangerous if used incorrectly or in the wrong hands. When they find and neutralize the artifact, they store it in Warehouse 13, a secret warehouse in South Dakota. You can watch Warehouse 13 on Peacock.

MySims Kingdom

  • Life Simulation, Strategy, Puzzle

The player’s character lives in a neglected kingdom, and the king has appointed you as the new Wandolier, tasked with restoring the kingdom. You travel to various islands throughout the kingdom and complete tasks assigned to you by the islanders using scrolls and mana. Builds and characters can be customized.
