Weekly recommendations can be for any type of entertainment and format. I’ll suggest work from any year, old or new. Because you just need something to get into sometimes.

Lord of the Rings

Set in the fantasy world of Middle Earth, Frodo and his eight companions must travel to Mordor to throw the One Ring into the fires of Mount Doom before Sauron can obtain it. The One Ring, forged by the Dark Lord Sauron, grants its wearer invisibility and the ability to control those who wear the other Rings of Power.

The Rain of Teardrops, and Serenade

Katagiri Hina is a typical high school student who is suddenly transported to 1907. She encounters a man named Hongo Takaaki, who misidentifies her as his fiancee, to whom she bears a striking resemblance. Gravity Falls

  • Cartoon Series, 40 episodes
  • Adventure, Mystery, Comedy, Supernatural

Dipper and Mabel Pines are spending their summer vacation with their great uncle Stan Pines, who runs a tourist trap called the Mystery Shack. Gravity Falls, however, has strange supernatural occurrences, and after Dipper discovers a mysterious journal, the two are determined to unravel the mysteries that lie in Gravity Falls.

Ark: Survival Evolved

  • Video Game: PlayStation, Xbox, Switch
  • Survival, Action, Adventure

You must survive in an open world full of prehistoric creatures, including dinosaurs, by taming those creatures, acquiring resources, and building your own shelter. Players must keep track of their health, stamina, hunger, body temperature, and other factors throughout the day and night.
