Weekly recommendations may include any form of entertainment for any age group. I’ll be recommending works released in any year. Why? Because sometimes you just need something to get into every now and then.

My Dress-Up Darling

  • Anime, 12 episodes
  • Romance, Comedy, Slice-of-life

I previously recommended the manga, and now I recommend the anime. Wakana Gojo became a quiet high school student with no friends after a childhood friend mocked his passion for Hina doll making. Gojo’s beautiful and popular classmate, Marin Kitagawa, discovered Gojo’s sewing skills and asked him for help in making her cosplay costumes. Marin learns of Gojo’s fondness for Hina dolls, but her reaction differs greatly from that of his childhood friend. They form a strong bond as they continue to work on cosplay together.

A previous tenant claimed that his roommate vanished while living in that apartment, shortly after seeing a handsome man there as well. So, what should Zylith do? Will she leave or stay to learn more about this eerie figure? You can read Freaking Romance at webtoons.com.

People in a dystopian future use OASIS, a virtual reality, to escape reality. Following the death of its creator, a game challenge is issued in which whoever finds the golden Easter Egg hidden in the game wins ownership of OASIS. The game entails obtaining three keys, acquired after completing three different challenges, in order to unlock the gate behind which the Golden Egg is locked. The CEO of Innovative Online Industries wishes to gain control of OASIS in order to incorporate intrusive online advertising into virtual reality.
