Twilight is a secret agent whose latest assignment requires him to have a wife and a child. He disguises himself as Loid Forger and adopts Anya, a young girl with telepathy who is aware of his secret. She is also aware that her mother, the woman Loid chose as his fake wife, is an assassin who is using the fake family as a cover to keep the government’s suspicions away from her. While they all try to keep their secrets hidden from one another, they gradually become more of a family as Anya tries her hardest to help her father by attending Eden Academy in the hopes that she will provide Loid with an opportunity to meet his target.
