Weekly recommendations is a post in which I recommend three types of entertainment. This can include anime, comics, manga, video games, books, TV shows, movies, and other forms of entertainment. They can also differ in terms of the intended audience and the release date.

Hinamatsuri

  • Anime, 12 episodes
  • Comedy, Sci-Fi, Slice-of-life

Yoshifumi Nitta is a member of the yakuza, but his life is turned upside down when a young girl named Hina falls into his apartment inside a big egg-like container. She also possesses psychokinetic abilities. Nitta lets her stay at his apartment and eventually becomes her father after she utilizes her powers to help him in a yakuza fight. Though, Hina is an odd girl, and her presence causes havoc in Nitta’s life, which is exacerbated when more girls from the future appear.

Caught by the Villain

  • Webtoon
  • Romance, Action, Fantasy

Eunha, a kendo prodigy, is reincarnated as Selena Evan, a novel’s minor character and the daughter of a skilled swordsman. Her new life is going well so far, but she’s doomed to die thanks to the terrible Prince Ignus. Selena’s twin brother, Celestine, flees to be with the one he loves before his military conscription, and she is forced to pretend to be him to prevent her entire family’s execution. But concealing her identity becomes increasingly difficult when Ignus discovers she’s been hiding her exceptional sword abilities and intends to make “Sir Celestine” his personal bodyguard.

Princess Jellyfish

  • Manga
  • Comedy, Romance

Tsukimi Kurashita, 18, has wanted to be a princess since she was a child. Instead, she is a plain and shy young lady who enjoys jellyfish. She lives in an all-female apartment complex with two rules: avoid stylish people and males. Tsukimi had always obeyed the rules until she met a beautiful, princess-like woman while trying to save a spotted jellyfish. Tsukimi realizes, after allowing the girl to stay the night, that the person is not a woman at all, but a crossing-dressing young man named Kuranosuke, who appears to want to be Tsukimi’s friend.
