Weekly recommendations is a post in which I recommend three different types of entertainment, such as anime, comic books, television shows, manga, and other similar media. The intended audience and the date on which the entertainment was released can vary.

Aoharu X Machine Gun

  • Manga
  • Action, Comedy

Hotaru Tachibana, the student council president, is a girl who is frequently misidentified as a boy. When a host defrauds a friend, Hotaru confronts Masamune Matsuoka, who happens to be her next-door neighbor. He offers a “survival game,” a war game with fake guns, to remedy the problem. She eventually loses and is compelled to join Masamune’s “Toy Gun Gun” team. She gradually develops a genuine love for the game and shares the team’s ambition of becoming the greatest team in Japan. However, Masasume’s team is male-only. Can she assist her teammates in becoming champions while simultaneously concealing her identity? If her true gender is discovered, will the team reject her?

Jujutsu Kaisen

  • Anime, 24 episodes (Season 2 coming soon)
  • Action, Fantasy, Shounen

Yuji Itadori, a high school student, spends his time at the Occult Club or visiting his grandfather in the hospital. After swallowing Sukuna Ryoumen’s finger, the “King of Curses,” he enrolls in Tokyo Metropolitan Jujutsu Technical High School. There, he begins his journey as a Jujutsu sorcerer in order to fight those curses, beings born from human malice and negativity, and collect the rest of Sukuna’s fingers.

Lego DC Super-Villains

  • Video Game: PC, Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One
  • Action-Adventure, Platform, Lego, Comedy

When the Justice League disappears, the villains must band together to defeat a new gang of heroes claiming to be the Justice League from another dimension. Once the villains encounter these heroes, they realize they are not heroes at all but rather a group of villains. The Joker, Harley Quinn, Lex Luther, and all of the other DC villains join together in a Lego adventure to stop these new villains and show the world that they are not who they seem to be. This is the first Lego game to feature a customizable and buildable character.
