Weekly recommendations is a weekly post in which I recommend three different kinds of media, such as anime, video games, cartoons, novels, comics, and other similar entertainment. They will also differ in terms of intended audience and date of release.

Happily Ever Afterwards

Peony reincarnates as the princess of the Kingdom of Garten in her favorite romance novel, “The Song of Askar.” With her memories of the book intact, she is determined to marry her favorite character, Richt, the second male lead and former second prince of the Fairspren Empire, who was banished at the end of the story after committing treason.

Xiaolin Showdown

Omi, Kimiko, Raimundo, and Clay become martial arts students in the Xiaolin temple after being chosen as the four Xiaolin Dragons: earth, water, fire, and wind. They must team up to locate magical artifacts known as Shen Gong Wu, which have special powers. During their travels, they meet the evil boy genius Jack Spicer and Wuya, an evil Heylin witch who wants to wield the Shen Gong Wu for evil.

Girls Und Panzer 

  • Anime, 12 episodes 
  • Action, Slice-of-life, Comedy, Sports, Military 

“Senshadou” is a popular sport in which girls participate in elimination-style battles with tanks from World War II. Miho Nishizumi is a high school girl from a family of renowned senshadou specialists, but after a traumatic tragedy, she refuses to participate in the sport. Because their senshadou program has been canceled, she transfers to Ooarai Girls High School. With championships approaching, though, the school plans to revive its tankery team, and they want Miho. Miho is coerced into joining, and now she must overcome her trauma and lead a tank squadron to championship victory.
