Weekly recommendations is a post I publish every Friday in which I recommend three various types of entertainment. Types include anime, comic books, webtoons, TV shows, movies, novels, and other works of the same nature. They can also differ in age range and release date.

Hello Baby

  • Webtoon
  • Romance

Gwen, disheartened after her date left her, has a one-night stand with an attractive and kind stranger while on a cruise with her friend. Gwen runs into that stranger again a few years later, this time in a custody dispute over their son. But as the two get to know each other and take care of their son together, the battle might end better than either of them thought it would.

Legendary: A Marvel Deck Building Game

  • Board Game
  • Action, Adventure, Deck building, Strategy

Legendary is a Marvel comics board game in which players must work together to win. Players choose a villain and a scheme to take on, as well as five heroes to utilize throughout the game. During the game, they must create their decks by selecting superhero cards that will complement their strategy. They’ll use such cards to defeat side villains as well as the main villain. Villains can also influence gameplay by capturing innocent bystanders or inflicting injuries on you. Players receive points for defeating villains, which they can later add up at the game’s conclusion. The person with the most points wins. However, the villains have a chance of winning as well.

Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid

  • Anime, 13 episodes
  • Comedy, Slice-of-life, Fantasy

Kobayashi is a typical Japanese woman working as a programmer. Her life is turned upside down after a drunken encounter in the woods with a wounded dragon. The dragon turns into a young woman who begs to be Kobayashi’s maid. She hesitantly consents. Torhu, the dragon, however, has some peculiar housekeeping habits, and with the entrance of other dragons, Kobayashi’s life will never be the same.
