Weekly recommendations is a post in which I recommend three different types of entertainment, including anime, comic books, movies, TV shows, webtoons, and others. They can also differ in terms of intended audience and date of release.

I Raised a Black Dragon

Noah Park, a transmigrator, finds herself inside the body of Eleanor Asil, a witch with 15 prior convictions and the main antagonist in the novel Noah read in her former life. She abandons her title and travels to live a peaceful life in the countryside, determined not to die at the end of the story, until the egg she got from the market hatches and reveals the dragon of the story. The dragon is supposed to be the heroine’s pet, but it suddenly wishes to imprint on Eleanor. To make her situation worse, the dragon egg was stolen from the royal castle, and the main male character of the novel believes Eleanor is the culprit.

Recovery of an MMO Junkie

Moriko just resigned from her job and is now spending her days as the male hero “Hayashi” in the online game Fruits de Mei. She meets Lily, a healer, and they quickly become friends. Moriko isolates herself, leaving her apartment only when absolutely necessary. Yuuta Sakurai is an introverted office worker who plays the game Fruits de Mer. They happen to run into each other in a convenience store and don’t think much of it. Their lives, however, are more connected than they think.

Jackie Chan Adventures  

  • Cartoon, 95 episodes  
  • Fantasy, Comedy, Adventure, Action  

With the help of his uncle, niece, and close friend, archaeologist and martial artist Jackie Chan uses his skills to uncover magical talismans and prevent evil supernatural powers from obtaining them first in order to control the world.
