Here are my weekly recommendations for this week. Every Friday, I recommend three different types of entertainment, covering everything from anime and comics to movies and television shows.
Magi: The Labyrinth of Magic

Supernatural beings known as “Djinns” rule large labyrinths known as “dungeons.” The Djinn will bestow extraordinary power on whoever successfully completes the dungeon. These dungeons were built by Magi, rare and powerful magicians who assisted rulers in creating empires. Aladdin is a young, isolated magician. He eventually leaves his home to travel the world with Ugo, a djinn he can call by playing the flute. He befriends Alibaba Saluja, and the two embark on an adventure that will change the entire world as well as help them discover more about themselves.
So I Married the Anti-Fan

- Romance, Comedy
Geunyeong Lee becomes an anti-fan of popular K-pop star Who Joon after a terrible interaction and misunderstanding on his behalf causes her to lose her job. She is offered the chance to co-star with him in a reality TV show in which they must live together. She accepts the TV show for the money, but as the show progresses, they learn more about each other and discover that they are quite different from what they first thought. They develop a deep friendship that blooms into love over time.
Avatar: The Last Airbender – The Promise
- Graphic Novel
- Action, Adventure, Comedy
The promise occurs immediately following the cartoon series. It focuses on what happens after Aang defeats the fire lord and how he and his companions deal with the political tension between the nations and their people. Meanwhile, Zuko is attempting to learn more about his mother from his imprisoned father, and Toph is running a new metal-bending school.
