I post three different types of entertainment recommendations every Friday. Among the various forms of entertainment are anime, webcomics, comic books, movies, TV shows, and other similar things. They can also differ in terms of intended audience and release date.
Tricked into Becoming the Heroine’s Stepmother
Webtoon
Fantasy, Comedy, Romance
Daisy Heidi is reincarnated as a commoner in a tale in which the main character indulges in desire with ten men, leading to a tragic ending. Daisy, however, is one of the book’s authors. When Daisy is suspected of stealing, she meets with the main character’s father and informs him that she is the author and can help stop his young daughter from becoming the woman she is in the novel. He hires her as his daughter’s nanny. The two then cooperate to ensure that the young Pierta never meets any of her future suitors.
Generator Rex
Cartoon, 60 episodes
Action, Adventure, Comedy, Drama, Science Fiction
Nanites can mutate any living thing into an E.V.O., or “Exponentially Variegated Organism.” Some E.V.O.s retain their humanity and can control their E.V.O. abilities, but the vast majority mutate into monsters capable of massive destruction and harm. After an explosion known as “the nanite event” dispersed nanites all over the world, the Providence organization was formed to stop deadly E.V.O.s. Rex is a fifteen-year-old amnesiac who works for Providence. He is an E.V.O with no physical defects and can control his nanites, allowing him to build a variety of biomechanical constructions with his body. He can also heal other E.V.Os by deactivating nanites within them, which he uses to assist Providence in stopping harmful E.V.Os.
