Weekly Recommendations is a post in which I recommend three different types of media for your own enjoyment. This can include anime, comic books, movies, TV shows, video games, and other forms of similar entertainment.

Toradora

Ryuuji Takasu has the face of a delinquent, but he is gentle and enjoys housework. Taiga Aisaka is short and adorable, but she has such a fiery personality that her classmates refer to her as the “Palmtop Tiger.” When these two realize they have feelings for each other’s closest friend, they decide to work together to help each other get closer to their crushes. Their partnership causes them to learn more about each other and create a bond that grows stronger as they interact.

Hercules: The Legendary Journeys

After his stepmother Hera murders his wife and child, Hercules, the legendary half-god, sets out on adventures with his comrade Iolaus to battle monsters and save people. Hera desires Hercules’ death because he reminds her of Zeus’ betrayal.

Lego: Pirates of the Caribbean 

  • Video Game: PlayStation, Wii, Nintendo DS/3DS, Xbox 
  • Action, Adventure, Comedy, Puzzle, Lego 

A Lego video game based on the film series Pirates of the Caribbean. Its plot is spread among the first four films. Play as your favorite characters, including Captain Jack Sparrow, Will Turner, Elizabeth Swan, Davy Jones, and Captain Barbossa. It blends elements of comedy, action, and adventure. Fight pirates and British soldiers, solve puzzles, earn studs to buy new characters and vehicles, and look for hidden Lego bricks.
